Hygge is. a danish word describing a cozy, comfortable, contented mood. This feminine, chubby cozy piece is all curled up with no agenda. She would be happy holding flowers as a vase or just resting on your shelf to remind you to relax and enjoy the body you get. to live your life in.
Spray glazed with cream and pink, lined with a deep carmel with pearlescent blue tones. Lines of the interior glaze accent some of the outside curves.
These curving vessels are thrown on the wheel and then patiently, lovingly altered, carved and smoothed in several stages. These are the pieces that take the most time and care. They are a meditation and are inspired by clouds, blooms, feminine curves and whatever else is going on in my life. They are driven by intuition and a search for a swirling balance.
